Hog Island Audubon Camp
Since 1936, naturalists from around the world have come to Audubon's famed Hog Island ecology camp in Muscongus Bay, near Damariscotta on Maine's midcoast. Situated on a 330-acre island sanctuary, the camp offers a variety of adult, youth and teen programs focusing on the natural history of coastal Maine, in a setting of unmatched natural beauty (and some of the best food you'll ever taste). Scott Weidensaul is a regular Hog Island faculty member, and a strong supporter of Audubon's mission of conservation and environmental education.
